How did you become involved with SU&D? I emailed the girls at Shut Up & Dance and asked if they would take my resume. This was before I had even been to a class. A group of mums would come to the cafe I was working at after their SU&D class in Khandallah and they were so pumped and excited and sweaty I knew I would love it. After that, it was just a little stalking on Instagram and I was sold. By the time I actually attended my first class I was already a SU&D teacher in my brain :) When you see or hear about something that makes your heart happy you gotta go investigate! I sent them an email and lucky the girls were looking for a teacher - I say that's a little love from the universe!
Shut Up & Dance in three words? Go: Brilliant, laugh-out-loud funny, it's your party you can cry if you want to... But you won't!
Whats your Guilty Pleasure dance track? Riverdance - bring it.
If you were to be stranded on a desert island and you had to take one person with you, who would it be and why? One person? Nope - 3 peeps. My kids ️because I love them... and I could boss them around to collect firewood and build forts :)
Have you done anything in the past week that has made you proper cringe? In two days time I take my final practical assessment for my 200hr yoga teacher training... Potentially a serious cringe moment coming right up... But fingers crossed that won't happen!
What would you do if you won the lotto? If I won the lotto I'd take my kids on a BIG adventure. Then I'd buy the biggest, most excellent dance studio and share it with everyone! It's my dharma :)
What inspires you? Courage and creativity inspire me. Anyone who has the courage to be seen for who they truely are and do what they truely love. The Shut Up & Dance girls are totally inspiring! My kids and all the kids I teach are completely inspiring! And Oprah... (I LOVE HER).
What would you say is your biggest achievement yet? Being a mum and being authentically me.

Vegemite: Yay or nay? Not bad, not good. I sit on the Vegemite fence.
If you were a cake slice what would you be and why? I'd be a multi-layered, multi-coloured, multi-flavoured, multi-everything... An undefinable cake slice.
If there was a film made about your life, what's the song that plays on it's trailer? Theme song: Eye of the Tiger.
Pet peeve? not being able to recycle EVERYTHING... so annoying.
Favourite quality in people? Integrity and humour.
Cats or dogs? Medium to Large sized Dogs 100%.
Something you're really good at? I'm good at 'deep and meaningfuls.' I could go on all day about the meaning of life :)
